The major implication is for the building of awareness around the notion that relationships are built differently within a global workforce and that trust is foundational to the success of these relationships. Knowledge of the trust components will allow for the effective establishment and maintenance of work place relationships especially by first confirming the competence and reliability of the trustee. Implications for researchers include the creation of a valid and reliable measure of propensity to trust in order to further investigate its relationship with cultural syndrome. Finally, researchers must continue to explore a cultural model for trust especially by re-examining the global implications of several of the outcomes of trust already established in the literature.","abstract_html":"Based on these findings several implications arise for HRD practitioners as well as researchers.
