Green, himself, is inspired by the dream and by visions in his creative work.","The second chapter discusses the use of the dream theme in Green's novels, his own views with regard to the psychoanalytical theories, as well as the ties between dream and creativity.","In the third chapter, we are concerned with the ways in which Green experienced self-division in his own life and gave expression to it in his writing. Several aspects of this theme of fragmentation have been studied: the "multiple personality," the "mirror" image, the double as an expression of the fear of death, the spiritual duality and the functions of multiplicity.","Made available in DSpace on 2014-12-16T05:11:32Z (GMT).
