This model is then incorporated into a broader framework for policy analysis and evaluation. Policy instruments that can be employed are derived from an analysis of the technical aspects of the risk generated at hazardous waste landfills.","As a means of demonstrating the viability of the framework and the economic model, a specific policy alternative is evaluated. The associated benefits and costs are estimated and compared.
