The temperature versus time history at a point inside the sphere was recorded with a thermocouple connected to a digital data acquisition system. Boiling curves were calculated from the temperature versus time data using a finite element inverse heat conduction program developed by the author.","Effects of the sphere diameter and the thermal properties on the quench boiling curves were found.
