The independent variables consisted of lower-division student academic data. The dependent variable was the student's upper-division grade point average.","Statistical tests for normality and distribution characteristics followed by tests for linear and multiple regression were performed on the data. The multiple regression analysis identified only one of the predictor variables as being statistically significant.
