This work is the result of the development of the laboratory section of CS424 Real-Time Systems. Early development created a robot and phone based platform. The us- age of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf components allowed for rapid prototyping, allowing the platform to be fielded Fall 2011. A theme was created to link both lecture and laboratory work, with students performing presentations in class on the design of their laboratory demonstrations.
