This study was conducted at a comprehensive drug treatment center over a three month period in which interviews, surveys and questionnaires were administered. Subjects consisted of counselors, administrators and African-American female clients who volunteered for the study. Five administrators and two counselors were interviewed from both inpatient and outpatient programs.
