The retention times of several $\\pi$-electron deficient guests were measured as a function of temperature on HPLC columns made from each of these CBSPs. Van't Hoff plots were generated to give a total of 22 enthalpies of retention which were compared with the corresponding enthalpies of complexation for the analogous host-guest complex in solution.
