The purpose of the study is to find out what qualities she has developed that have made her have a reputation as a good teacher. Insights into her past and present are made through interviews with those who worked with her in school settings. Personal in-depth interviews with Annie were also conducted in order to obtain her views on teaching. Over a year of observations and interviews led me to conclude that Annie's personal levels of commitment and abstraction are so high that she has come to teach, and learn about teaching on another level that not all teachers achieve. The high level of teaching Annie has reached is what I term as \"\"kaleidoscopic teaching.\"\"\"","abstract_html":""This is a case study of an elementary teacher, Annie, who has been teaching for 26 years.
