This research addressed a gap in the literature, and with the data collected, provided insights to the case environment as well as other universities that operate in a similar context. Through a mixed-methods approach, data was collected via a survey followed by a focus group, in addition to historical surveys maintained by the program. The results indicate overall learner perceptions were positive in this program, and the three major characteristics impacting learner perceptions are flexibility, peer community, and technology.
