The research model has been adapted from the reference paper by Dr. Leah Edelstein. We decided to incorporate hyphal death in our analytical calculations, analyze the model using different methods, and compare the observations with the results produced in the original paper. It would give us a more realistic understanding of the system’s feasibility in actually representing a fungal colony. For analyzing the system, we have used the method of nullclines, linear stability analysis, and computer simulations. We found that the results produced in the absence of hyphal death are very close and similar to the results produced when they are ignored."]},{"key":"dc:format","label":"Dc Format","values":["application/pdf"]},{"key":"dc:title","label":"Title","values":["One-dimensional coupled ODE-PDE models for fungal growth"]}]}],"canonical_facts":{"dc:contributor":["Rapti, Zoi"],"dc:creator":["Bhartia, Aditya"],"dc:date":["2024-05","2023-12-08"],"dc:description":["Submission original under an indefinite embargo labeled 'Open Access'.
