There is a strong motivation to validate the results of the detection of doubly-charmed baryons from experiments such as SELEX and LHCb, not only because the results from the two experiments are in conflict, but also to better understand the workings of Quantum Chromodynamics in their production. This work describes a search for doubly-charmed baryons in CDF Run II data, both in the six-track final state mode of $\\mathit{\\Xi_{cc}^{++}\\rightarrow \\Lambda_c^+K^-\\pi^+\\pi^+}$ and the five-track state of $\\mathit{\\Xi_{cc}^{+}\\rightarrow \\Lambda_c^+K^-\\pi^+}$. The decay mode of another six-track final state $\\mathit{\\Lambda_{b}^{\\mathrm{0}}\\rightarrow \\Lambda_c^+\\pi^-\\pi^+\\pi^-}$ is used as a reference signal. The search was performed on the CDF data with selection criteria optimized for the $\\mathit{\\Lambda_{b}^{\\mathrm{0}}\\rightarrow \\Lambda_c^+\\pi^-\\pi^+\\pi^-}$ decay mode. The search did not result in a significant detection of either of the two doubly-charmed baryons.
