A passive morphing wing configuration is studied in the current work with a bi-stable trailing edge that can snap through instabilities to two different configurations. This passive morphing is capable of toggling to different configurations based on the perceived pressure field. A load cell is used to measure forces and moments on the wing. The objectives of the overall study are: (i) To develop and characterize an experimental setup for future unsteady aerodynamics studies. (ii) To determine the aerodynamic loading experienced by the wing and capture the dynamic loading experienced during the snap-through process. (iii) To understand the performance of the morphing under varied conditions to enable improved iterations of the wing.
