Films and novels analyzed include: What is to be done? by Nikolai Chernyshevsky; We by Evgeny Zamyatin; Sleep Dealer, directed by Alex Rivera; the MaddAddam trilogy by Margaret Atwood; A Planet for Rent by Yoss; and Roadside Picnic by the Strugatsky brothers.
