Participants were recruited from six institutions across the United States, which resulted in eight individuals engaging in interview process. Through the data analysis process, three major themes were identified: recognition of men’s issues, seeking and sustaining male peer support, and authoring of new masculinities and gender identity. The researcher provided insight on how participants self-authored their own versions of masculinities as a result of engaging in a masculinities program.
