The Effects of Demographic Variables and Political Viewpoint on Job Satisfaction Levels in a County Sheriff's Department.

The purpose of the study is to examine the relationship of demographic variables and political viewpoint to levels of job satisfaction in a law enforcement setting. The demographic variables used in the study are age, race, sex, educational level, veteran's status, length of law enforcement service, and rank. Political viewpoint refers to the law enforcement officer being politically conservative or liberal.
