Oscillation of a Third Order Nonhomogeneous Differential Equation.
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThis thesis considers the third order, nonhomogeneous, (NH), linear differential equation(NH) y'"+ p(x)y' + q(x)y = f(x),together with the associated homogeneous equation(H) u'" + p(x)u' + q(x)u = 0.The coefficient functions p(x), q(x), and the forcing function f(x) are assumed to be continuous, real-valued functions on the half-axis [a,∞).
