X-ray Crystallographic Structure Determination of Aminotri-n-Propylarsonium Chloride and Mass Spectral Study of Amino-trialkylarsonium Chlorides.

Abstract

dc:description.abstract

Aminotri-n-propylarsonium chloride was originally prepared by Krannich (1) by the chloramination of tri-n-propylarsine. On the basis of infrared data, it was assumed that the compound was an aminoarsonium chloride salt. However, a pentavalent structure was also a possibility.
