A historical study of the woman suffrage movement in California, 1910-1911
Abstract
dc:description.abstract<p>The years before 1910 are filled with accounts of the gains made for woman suffrage in various parts of the United States as well as in countries overseas. There is evidence of agitation in Mexico, England, Ireland, and even in China. The California movement for woman suffrage was an important part of a world-wide movement.</p>
