Selection of 200 parent educators who participated in a parent-education conference created the study's sample. Initially, 41 people responded to the three-round Delphi survey, which provided consensus of opinion on the two research questions: "What are the current patterns in parent education?" and "What are the future directions in parent education?" Round I respondents identified current patterns and future directions by answering open-ended questions. Ideas that were similar were combined into succinct representative statements by the researcher. In Round II, participants used a Likert-type scale to indicate agreement with the statements.
