A preliminary examination of young adults’ attitudes and perceptions of Cannabis Tourism
Abstract
dc:description.abstractCannabis Tourism is an emerging concept within the hospitality industry that is prevalent to the in the states in which recreational cannabis use is legal. Cannabis Tourism is defined as an individual who is traveling greater than or equal to 75 miles from where they reside with the intention to purchase and/or consumer cannabis for recreational use. The purpose of this study is to assess the effectiveness of Ajzen’s (1991) Theory of Planned Behavior (TpB) to measure young adult’s (YA) attitudes and intentions to engage in cannabis tourism through a data analysis of a survey instrument.
