A theatre of deception: The Plano Performance Center for the Interactive Arts

As technology, human interests and psychology change so does our understanding of media; can we bring media to one place to experiment with community and social interaction using the constructs of technology? A theater with this new media of virtual reality should, in fact, express fun and bring social interaction to a space lost by the visions of computers. A theater of deception will construct architectural elements such as: deception in scale; fraudulence in perspective and a distilled perception of light that should encourage social interaction to enhance a correspondence between architecture and theatrics. This will in turn institute an urban development that conveys a link in the community of downtown Plano, Texas.
