A sociological study of a Mexican school in San Antonio, Texas

The material herein presented attempts to study a few of the more interesting and significant sociological factors in the Navarro School of San Antonio, Texas, a school in which the enrollment is about 100 per cent Mexican. The paper grew out of a survey in 1925-26 of selected Mexican social groups, made by Dr. Max S. Handman of the University of Texas. In general, this paper attempts to examine the group comprising the Navarro School and to draw from its enrollment, attendance, development, and methodology, conclusions that are of interest in the study of the particular type of group behavior.
