The research also describes what Parmer County farmers believe about the structured dissemination of conservation information they receive. To accomplish this task, a self-administered questionnaire using a purposive sample was distributed at local businesses that Parmer County farmers and landowners are known to frequent. The survey was created from the descriptive categories identified in the conceptual framework with each question being linked to a specific category through the use of an operationalization table. There were 37 surveys completed by Parmer County farmers. The results revealed that the farmers fully believe in local water management and that they are using the best farming practices to conserve water.
