David Ignatow: An Annotated Bibliography of Secondary Sources, 1948-1994

The following is an annotated bibliography of the scholarship written on David Ignatow. The work includes an introduction with an overview and assessment of the poet's body of work along with a discussion of the periodic changes in poetry scholars' opinions of and approaches to Ignatow' s work between 1948 and 1994. The body of my work consists of annotations to bibliographic entries listed in chronological order. Each annotation assesses the value of the entry to Ignatow scholars. The purpose of ordering the entries by date is to gain an overview of the positive changes in attitudes and opinions in scholarship written on Ignatow.
