Methods: The methods used to obtain data for this study where: (1) administration of rod-and-frame-test to determine each subjectâ€™s degree of field dependency: (2) administration of the training program which involved each of three groups receiving either body oriented verbal cues, field oriented verbal cues, or non-verbal filmed demonstrations; (3) evaluation of each subjects filmed performance by a panel of Judges; (4) submission of data to analysis of variance and test for Least Significant Difference. Findings: 1.) Field independent subjects performed significantly better than field dependent subjects irrespective of the type of information received. 2.) Field dependent subjects who received field information scored significantly better than field dependent subjects who received body information. 3.) Field dependent subjects who received field information performed better than field dependent subjects who received filmed information, but the difference was not significant. 4.) Field dependent subjects who received filmed information performed considerably better than field dependent subjects who received body information, however, the difference was not significant. 5.) Field independent subjects who received body information scored significantly better than field independent subjects who received field information. 6.)
