Methods: A multi-center observational study was conducted within 10 non-academic community, acute care hospitals across Memorial Hermann Health System (MHHS) in Houston, Texas. Modified Delphi methodology was used to identify a comprehensive list of key performance indicators (KPIs) by a panel of pharmacy directors and managers. KPIs were then ranked to identify areas of prioritization as perceived by pharmacy leadership. With these KPIs, pharmacy profile questions were then developed to understand how pharmacy departments are spending their time. Answers to pharmacy profile questions were then analyzed using Spearman Rank Correlation. Results: A total of 15 KPIs were identified from the Delphi consensus process by pharmacy leaders. Pharmacy profile questions were analyzed via spearman rank correlation and identified potential areas that could impact pharmacy productivity. Conclusion: Modified Delphi methodology proves effective in engaging pharmacy leadership and can be adapted for use in other organizational settings.
