Advancements in technology have provided the ability to program an electronic sound file that can be a used to assist with both rhythmic accuracy and intonation. These audio files are useful for gauging the accuracy of a performance by providing benchmarks for pitch and rhythm. </p> <p> This project identifies common trombone audition repertoire, discusses the pedagogical problems associated with that repertoire, and provides sound files designed to address these concerns.
