Dreams of Years Like Stones

<p>When a young carpenter and painter, Rudolfo Garcia, unknowingly kills a man in Baja, his hopes quickly spiral into fear, which prompts him to cross the border into the United States. Loss turns to fulfillment when he meets an aspiring young journalist in Washington, D.C., who recognizes his artistic talents. But the paradox of their friendship--her visible world exposes his life as an undocumented immigrant--challenges each of them, and raises universal questions about what it means 'to belong' and have a home.</p>
