Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe content of this thesis is divided into two part. Part I consists of a review of graphical methods in data analysis, whilst Part II presents a graphical procedure for identifying growth curves based on the fitting of a polynomial function to sections or "blocks" of the raw data.
