Other chelating polymers containing salicylic acid, alizarin or pyridyl azo resorcinol as the functional group have also been examined to determine their behaviour with the same six metals. An attempt to determine the magnitude of the stability constants for the metal-resin complexes, uranyl and copper-poly styrene chelates, has been made.
