Results show that the effluent significantly increased the sodium content of both soil and tissue; however, these levels fell far below the level necessary to become detrimental to plant life, soil chemistry and soil structure. There was evidence that the increase of elements from the effluent provided positive effects in growth and plant health. There was no evidence of sodium toxicity or calcium starvation.
