Subjects were 57 campers at a week long summer diabetes camp. Age of the subjects ranged from 8 to 15 years with a mean age of 11.7 years. The conceptual framework reflected the review of literature and the blood glucose protocol. The research tool contained data related to the medical history, home blood glucose levels, camp blood glucose levels, supplemental and nocturnal nutrition, and exercise level.<br> Results indicated that the 10-hour blood glucose protocol eliminated subjects from the 24-hour blood glucose protocol.
