Abstract
dc:description.abstract<p>This researcher investigated the learning needs of patients attending an outpatient Radiation Therapy clinic for cancer" treatment. The problem under investigation was:<br> What are the knowledge self-care deficits of patients receiving radiation therapy in a rural outpatient setting?<br> A better understanding of their needs may impact the kinds of educational programs offered to these patients. When patients are at home, caring for themselves, it becomes very important for them and their families to understand their care and to have appropriate resources available to them.</p>
