This study was conducted in an attempt to identify information items new mothers rate as important and identify areas of agreement and disagreement between prenatal mothers and postnatal mothers. The objectives of the study were to:
1. Describe prenatal and postnatal women's perceptions regarding the level of importance attributed to the following categories (see Appendix A for items under each component).
