Respondents were asked to return a mailed questionnaire which solicited responses using a likert like scale to express their level of satisfaction with access and location; admitting, nursing, medical, laboratory, and x-ray staff; the environment; and the ED in general.<br> Satisfaction levels increased for admitting staff, laboratory and x-ray personnel. Satisfaction remained nearly unchanged with nursing and medical staff, and decreased for access and location. The overall satisfaction in the ED was 84% during Traditional ED Care (TEDC). Overall satisfaction increased to 100% with Fast Track Care (FTC).
