Chapter 1 presents the ministry context of Red Oak Church and the project’s goals. Chapter 2 provides the biblical and theological foundations for intercessory prayer by examining Jesus’s prayer life then and now. In chapter 3, prayer in the life and ministry of Jonathan Edwards is explored and presented as an example to spur us on. Chapter 4 explains the project’s implementation, the eight-week curriculum, and the five-part sermon series taught during the fall of 2025.
