Called By God: Peter's Plea to the Scattered Church in 1 Peter

This project is a series of sermons through the book of 1 Peter, exploring both the contextual meaning and biblical theological connections of the book to the rest of Scripture. Chapter 1 sets the stage for the project by giving a brief history of biblical theology, defining its meaning, and showing its importance to biblical interpretation. The remainder of the project is a nine-part sermonic exposition of the text of 1 Peter utilizing the interpretive thought flow of biblical theology. The key theme of this sermon series is that Christians are called to faithful perseverance and mission in light of their identity as the people of God.
