Datos clínico-biológicos que permiten subclasificar a los Pacientes con síndrome mielodisplásico en nuevos grupos de riesgo
Abstract
[EN] Myelodysplastic syndromes are a heterogeneous group of clonal diseases of hematopoietic stem cells, characterized by morphologic dysplasia, ineffective hematopoiesis in one or more cell lines of myeloid origin, cytopenia (s) and a variable tendency to progress to acute myelogenous leukemia . The overall objective is: To analyze the clinical and biological characteristics and the impact on the evolution of some biological and clinical findings of patients with MDS. This has been pursued the following specific objectives: 1. To analyze whether the presence of thrombocytopenia at diagnosis may have an impact on the evolution of MDS patients at risk. 2. Assess whether the degree of neutropenia may have independent prognostic value in patients with low risk MDS. 3. To analyze the clinical and biological characteristics of patients with alterations in chromosome 7.
