Incidencia del acoso escolar en alumnos de 4º y 6º de Educación Primaria en colegios de la ciudad de Vigo
Abstract
[EN]The ultimate goal of this research is to analyze the situations of bullying in the levels of second and third cycle of primary education, the schools in Vigo (Pontevedra). In this sense, the overall objective is to analyze the incidence, characteristics and consequences of abuse in the given state. One issue that lately it is giving a great importance is whether children who are victims of bullying can manifest psychological harm, a result of this abusive situation. The Report of the Queen Sofia Center for the Study of Violence (2005) and analyzes the consequences suffered by victims, indicating that nervousness would be the consequence that affects the victims of a situation of harassment (55%), followed of sadness (50%) and loneliness (45%). X Cisneros Report (2006) also discusses these implications, highlighting the low self-esteem as a result it has a higher incidence (57.2%), followed by somatization (55.0%), posttraumatic stress syndrome ( 53.7%) and negative self-image (53.0%). Years earlier, Smith (1989) noted that the consequences of maltreatment were related to the loss of confidence and self-esteem and a lack of friends. Olweus added in 1993, the anxiety and insecurity. Following this line of work, look into the possible existence of possible psychological effects on tested students, it also becomes a key issue of analysis in this investigation.
