Evaluación cognitiva en la esclerosis múltiple

[EN] In this work we propose a study of the cognitive function, measured across tests of sifted cognitive, of a global battery of valuation of the cognitive deterioration, and of specific tests for each of the cognitive valued areas, in patients diagnosed of EM with a forma of presentation Remitente-Recidivante and with a degree of functional slight disability (EDSS_3.5). In addition, we value the paper that plays the depression and some clinical variables. The work divides in two parts. In the first one, we describe the disease and realize a theoretical review it brings over of the different studies on the cognitive function of the patients with EM. The second one, constitutes the empirical study in yes. We have structured the theoretical review in two chapters. In the first one of them we define the disease, his clinical characteristics, patogénicas, how there is carried out the diagnosis of the same one, forecast of the disease and we approach the topic of the current medication for the treatment of the disease. Immediately afterwards, in the second chapter, let's sense beforehand results and conclusions found by the realized studies it brings over of the valuation of the different areas of the cognitive function in the EM, we describe how these patients must be valued neuropsicológicamente, approach the topic of the cognitive deterioration and the dementia in the EM, to finish with the treatment of the cognitive alterations. The second part constitutes the empirical study. In the third chapter, we gather the ethical exposition of the problem, the formulation of aims and hypothesis and the aspects of the investigation. In the fourth chapter, we describe the sample participant in the study, the instruments of evaluation used, how there has been carried out the investigation, what statistical analysis has been realized and the IT used support. In the fifth chapter the results of the study are exposed, in the sixth one the discussion of these results and finally, in the seventh one they present the most important conclusions obtained of the investigation.
