Abstract

[EN]This present work is a study of the narrative work of Darío Jaramillo , who reviewed from a new perspective , attempts to provide a satisfactory answer that would help resolve the questions about the location of the aesthetics of narrative Darío Jaramillo and it definitely shows the Near darkness that remains from the publication in 1983 of his first novel , The Death of Alec , in addition to discovering the most important keys to his narrative. According to the title: discrete Postmodernism : A narrative approach to Darío Jaramillo ( Alec 's death , Letters crossed and The Inner Voice ) , is analyzed in the three novels that make up the corpus of this work, the demand for great creative freedom by the Colombian writer manifested by the transcendence of the limitations imposed by various literary isms , and move freely across borders that distinguish aesthetic movements . This involves analyzing the ambivalence and ambiguity as definitive mark of his narrative , and therefore always recognize the harmony within their novels postmodern trend remains of the previous sensitivity more precisely modernity and tradition of the nineteenth century narrative and also , to a lesser extent , the connection of these with aesthetics "postboom" , confirming the unusual and eccentric Colombian author affiliation. The study was carried out taking into account the criticisms of postmodernism contributions , narratology and postboom . It thus develops through two main centers of interest. The first is the main thematic concerns of Darío Jaramillo addressing issues such as interpersonal relationships of modern man, the problem of drug violence in Colombia and the fall of the powers ( the Catholic Church , academia and ideology ) and its consequences . The second focus is shaped by the formal aspects and recurring narrative of the work of Dario Jaramillo and there, addresses issues such as realism and referentiality , the use of metafiction and intertextuality in these novels . The claim of the great creative freedom by the Colombian writer manifested by the transcendence of the limitations imposed by various literary isms , and move freely across borders that distinguish aesthetic movements .
