Diseño y desarrollo de una escala corta para la exploración neuropsicológica de la dislexia evolutiva: batería de evaluación neuropsicológica de la dislexia evolutiva (BENDE)

[EN] The instruments to explore the neuropsychological difficulties of Spanish-speaking children with literacy problems are limited : only include school age despite evidence about potential predictors and preschoolers ; are adaptations or depart originally designed to study in English language ; only describe the external manifestations of read- writte problems or merely linguistic processes and those that intend to address other neuropsychological domains are very extensive. From this background we set as a goal the design, construction and validation of the neuropsychological battery Exploration of Evolutionary Dyslexia ( BENDE ) . Our instrument would be based on the findings described in the scientific literature on developmental dyslexia and take into account research in Spanish language. We also decided to analyze the psychometric properties of BENDE . Were evaluated with BENDE to a sample of 112 children aged between 4 and 12 years , covering the pre - school and school levels to sixth grade education in two schools in the metropolitan region of Santiago de Chile middle socioeconomic - high . Participants were selected and classified into two grupospor their teachers according to the same criteria regarding pre - lectoescritor or lectoescritor , group lectoescritoras difficulties ( ADO ) and attentive group ( NORMAL ) performance.
