Competencias que demandan los egresados en ingeniería en el ámbito de la informática y los egresados en ingeniería en el ámbito industrial

[EN] In this thesis asks the graduate in the field of Computer Engineering and graduated in the field of Mechanical Engineering to respect what is your assessment with 18 specific and 24 generic skills. The survey is conducted in two languages, Spanish and Portuguese and distributed by Spain and northern Portugal. The conclusions are as follows. General conclusions: The skills tested are generally well rated, except for: Specific Skills: Marketing and humanistic knowledge. Generic Competence: Knowledge of other cultures and customs. There are large differences between countries and the degrees considered. Graduates give more importance to the generic skills to specific. Conclusions statistical study: In the study of independence by Chi-square test, we find that in both areas there are 16 Engineering skills between specific and general, whose value is dependent on the country concerned, of which 8 are common to both areas: Chemistry, Basic Technology, Design, Languages, critical Thinking, Persuasion, enterprise Risk Management, Jobs in international context. Also conducted a study of independence between the valuation given by the Spanish and the Portuguese Engineers, resulting in this case there are 22 skills, whose value is dependent on the country. Among these 22 are 8 common to the two areas previously considered
