Through walking, an actor and filmmaker subject their bodies to encounters with other bodies (mostly non-human) in the environment in search of visual and sonic intensities. The experiment is with an “objective” or realistic presentation and combines techniques of ethnographic filmmaking with techniques of acoustic-ecology’s tradition of soundscape composition. All the images, sounds, and electromagnetic frequencies were recorded in Vancouver B.C. between July and November of 2023.
