A first-person action research approach explored my leadership style and the impact of my intersectionality on my leadership experiences. Autoethnographic journals, interviews and focus groups gained insight into inclusive leadership in the social location of Windsor. Results suggested that safe space for dialogue is required for people of all backgrounds to participate in local leadership.
