Our work, our voice : children's work experiences in Alberta, Canada

This qualitative research study examined children’s work experiences in Alberta Canada. Children 9-16 years of age discussed the challenges, concerns and hopes they had for current and future work experiences and societal contributions. Through the use of critical and visual ethnography, children presented compelling information on why their democratic voice is so crucial in framing, developing and evaluating children’s work contributions and their participation in society.
