The data collected revealed that Westervelt's stakeholders supported the in-school suspension program as an effective alternative to out of school suspension.</p> <p>The researcher found that the majority of the suspensions assigned at Westervelt High School were for attendance infractions. How can students that were experiencing attendance problems be disciplined with additional days outside the educational forum of the school?
