Two transition needs and service surveys were conducted to 46 high school students under special education services and to 6 professionals who provide services. It was to determine if the services that the juniors and seniors were receiving would either prepare them to enter into the work force or to continue with their education. The findings show that there is some discrepancy between students and professionals about the existence of a transition plan, students' involvement in the plan-making process and their assessment on how the students are prepared for their post-school life.
