A survey was distributed to 20 people in each of the following categories: teacher, parent, student, and other educational professionals. The four categories mentioned above were analyzed in the surveys. The results indicated that the participants feel that suicide prevention/postvention programs are successful and that there is a need for them within the schools. It was found that some teachers were receiving a form of suicide prevention/postvention programming or training.
